Below are the initial rough cuts of four episodes of 'Paid Research Study', a partially-improvised digital series written, created, and assistant directed by Dan White. The series follows Edgar Ramirez and Marty Hopkins, two mid-level consumer researchers at The Whiffler Research Group. 'Paid Research Study' explores the quasi-academic world of contracted research studies and the eclectic pool of volunteers excited to make some quick cash.

The series was shot in February of 2018 on a sound stage at Chicago's premiere film studio 'Cinespace'. It  features a cast of 15 of Chicago's funniest improvisers. Still in the very early stages of post-production, this project is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2018.
